This week the children in Nursery have been celebrating Harvest. Nursery have learnt that we celebrate this festival because it is the time of the year when all the crops have been harvested.
The staff were extremely proud of Nursery, with how they performed their Harvest song – ‘The Owl’. Over the last few weeks, Nursery have been practising, with Reception, ready for their first Rushall performance. They also learnt the words to ‘Harvest Samba’, ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’ and Cauliflowers Fluffy’.
To celebrate the success of their Harvest performance, Nursery met with their buddy class, Year 3, to share Harvest bread. The children could choose whether they wanted butter or jam on their bread. It was very yummy!
